Chris Dubois Ministries is a discipleship ministry centered on helping Jesus' followers grow in holiness, Christlikeness, and maturity. It is designed to bring wholeness to people's lives and to help them live the abundant and victorious life Jesus died to give them. It is also an evangelistic ministry that points the lost to Jesus as Lord and Savior. Chris Dubois has the gift of teacher and evangelist, and he seeks to communicate the deeper truths of Scripture clearly and understandably to both the saint and sinner. He is also the lead elder and pastor of the Awakening Church, which meets in Dover, NH. With these three ministry gifts of teacher, evangelist, and pastor, he seeks to build up the body of Christ and equip the saints to minister in the fullness of her calling and gifts. This ministry aims to interpret, understand, believe, and apply the Scriptures rightly in their proper context. It seeks to make Jesus more famous and point people to Him as the answer for all of life. This ministry is counter-cultural and desires to speak on biblical subjects often despised in the culture and ignored by the church. It attempts to rightly interpret and apply biblical holiness so we can live completely holy lives. Holiness has so often been misunderstood, misinterpreted, misapplied, and misrepresented. So often, “holiness” is seen as a negative term people want to avoid like the plague and run from at all costs. ABOUT CHRIS DUBOIS
Chris Dubois is a follower of Jesus, husband, and father to six precious children. He is president and founder of Chris Dubois Ministries and is the lead and founding elder and pastor of the Awakening Church in Dover, NH. Chris holds a B.B. (Bachelor in Bible) degree with a major in Bible and a minor in pastoral studies from Zion Bible College (now called NorthPoint College) and an M.DIV. (Masters of Divinity) degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
Chris gave his life to Jesus and was baptized in water at a young age but later recommitted his life to Jesus at the age of 15. Shortly after this at the age of 17, he had a powerful experience with God that forever changed his life in which he was filled with the Holy Spirit and was called to spend his life preaching the Gospel and teaching the Scriptures in full-time ministry. His ministry is marked by a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit and he passionately seeks to both demonstrate and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus and the Kingdom of God to all nations for the glory of God. He seeks to help people live a completely holy life finding lasting freedom and victory over sin and displaying Christlikeness and maturity to a lost world.
Chris has a love for music, drums, summer, swimming, books (non-fiction), theology, movies, water, dogs, pizza (pretty much all Italian food), and beaches.
